Partnership Working

HOPS works in partnership with a wide range of other bodies and stakeholders to ensure that a full understanding of the issues affecting the planning system within Scotland are addressed and seeks to influence the policy agenda for these bodies.

Collaboration with other professional groups in local government, particularly with SCOTS (transport) and SLAED (economic development), will be pursued in areas where joint working will be of mutual benefit.  HOPS welcomes the recent work by the Improvement Service to promote and develop such joint working.
