Rail Links
You can travel from Glasgow Central to Ayr in 55 minutes. Ayr train station is half a mile from the campus (about a 10-minute walk, mostly flat). Further information and timetables can be found on the ScotRail webpage.
Bus Links
Stagecoach Buses run services from Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station to Ayr. The timetable for the X77 can be found on the Stagecoach website. The stop is about 1 mile from the campus, but local Stagecoach bus connections are also available.
By Car
We would encourage delegates to travel by public transport where possible. Delegates who are only attending the conference may park in either UWS Car Park 1 or 2. Please buzz at the barrier and security will give you access. Delegates who are staying in the Ayr Residences accommodation can either park in the Residences carpark or Car Park 3 or 4, which are very close by. Please also buzz at the barrier and security will give you access.
