The panel session will chaired and summarised by Ross Martin – Advisor on Regional Economies – ScotIncGrowth.

This panel session will look at the role of the planning system to help deliver solutions to the housing emergency. The panel includes:

  • Fiona Simpson – Director of Planning, Architecture and Regeneration – Scottish Government
  • Chris Logan – Managing Director – Persimmon Homes
  • Pam Ewen – Head of Planning – Fife Council
  • Kevin Murphy – Director of Planning – Homes for Scotland
  • Blair Miller – Head of Housing and Communities – East Ayrshire Council

The panel discussion will be chaired by Steven Tolson the former chair of the Housing and Place Delivery Forum, and RICS Scotland.

Lunch will be served, this will also be an opportunity to visit the stalls of our sponsors.

  • Robert McKinnon – Homes for Scotland
  • Cllr Graham Barton – East Ayrshire Council

The panel discussion will be chaired by Irene Beautyman the Place & Wellbeing Partnership Lead and summarised by Craig McLaren the National Planning Improvement Champion, both from the Improvement Service.

We will close the day with a free drinks reception sponsored by Brockwell Energy that all delegates are welcome to attend.
